If you have a simple laptop then there is nothing wrong with that if you remember that if you have an SSD card installed in your laptop you are in a good place.

If you don’t want to install Linux on your system it’s been your system might we not capable for Debian distribution. That’s not a problem you can use virtual machine but the problem with using virtual machine is it will use multiple spaces and make your system bit slower.
Because I use only see Ali base Linux in my work the work is quite different and situation also. I personally use Linux as a sub operating system that works totally perfect for me. If you want to use Linux as a sub operating system so do the member there will be no GUI graphical user interface environment. But for that reason GUI work same as it work on boot.
